It is more focused on the difference between meeting one's soul versus meeting their physical body to start the deeper conversation of intersectionality.

People from Black and Brown cultures from all over the world have been photographed and interviewed about how they view and honor their soul. The book features the transcripts of the interviews, autoethnography, and ethnography.
