SEPTEMBER'S RECAP

New Program Offering

I'm now offering free 1-hour photoshoots for Black and Brown trans and gender diverse folks in Seattle and surrounding areas. This is a space for folks to love on themselves, celebrate anniversaries, and bring their vision to life. This will be an ongoing offering for as long as sustainably possible. General Updates
At the Mount Baker Foundation and Chuckanut Health Foundation Community Health Cohort, I gave one of my favorite interactive presentations, “Liberation as a Language” - If we think of liberation as a language, then art, dance, music, poetry, etc, become dialects of that language.

I started a Substack for Halogen that's think pieces, blog post, articles, and more that are complimentary to the core work. Check it out here.

As the force of this administration continues to ramp up, this work is more and more needed and unfortunately a bit harder to provide. Halogen needs all the support we can get! I'm officially sounding the alarm bells. I'm looking for philanthropic advisors and community engagement specialists to speak with about how to continue this work and find financial stability. Please keep an eye and ear out. 😊

Opportunities
I'm exploring implementing volunteer positions in early 2026 for community engagement, community relations (public relations), and fundraising and campaigns to increase awareness around Halogen, raise unrestricted funds, and synthesize new collaborative partnerships.
