[Documentary / Film] - "Running From / Chasing Towards"

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Halogen is seeking 10 Black and Brown trans individuals to interview and highlight in a hybrid short film documentary about the softness of knowing who you are. This documentary is a love letter to identity, ceremony, and critical reflection. Each person will be asked the question: “If you could hold your own hands as a stranger, what would they feel like?” -- In addition to the question, they will get to showcase a passion of theirs tied to their answer.

TONE/STYLE
The cinematography will be intimate and detail-focused with an emphasis on stillness. Moments will feel like browsing through postcards filled with introspection, reflection, memories, and a sense of forever made up of “nows”. The series will be reminiscent of being shot on film and have an analog feel mixed with modern visuals.
