LOGLINE: “In the isness of use comes a responsibility of curiosity; a command to live fully in all shades of our stories. Anything less and the isness becomes too matter of fact.”

ABOUT: RUNNING FROM / CHASING TOWARDS is a love letter to identity, ceremony, and critical reflection. This documentary film captures the energy of 15 Black and Brown trans individuals who spent their formative years (late teens to early 20s) in the pandemic and are now fighting to realign their dreams with accessible resources. Ultimately, preserving not only the human, but the softness of knowing who you are. Each person will be asked the question: “If you could hold your own hands as a stranger, what would they feel like?” In addition to the question, they will get to showcase a passion of theirs tied to their answer.

RELEASE: Coming to DVD and in-person screenings early 2027.
